Luxxery has secured special rate suites for out of town patients at 2 of the premier hotels nearby. We provide one overnight stay with our compliments to all out of town patients.

  • Luxxery Apres-Surgery Pampering Center
    Patients are typically seen post-operatively in our office the next day after surgery. Our on-site pampering center, complete with luxury showers, spa and hair care allows our patients to be cared for by our passionate staff and enjoy their post operative pampering services, complimentary and in the luxury of our offices without the need to go elsewhere.

  • How to start the process If you are out of town, out of state or out of the country and are considering having cosmetic surgery with Dr. Hakki, our staff is ready to provide you with all arrangements necessary to maximize your comfort. Please call our office at 301 843-9769 to discuss your procedure and schedule your virtual consultation.

    You will need to provide a set of photos (front, side and 45 degree angle shots) of the area of your procedure of interest. Clear and close up photos can be emailed, in jpeg format to info@luxxery.com or if you prefer, hard copies can be mailed to our office (marked confidential). Upon receipt of your photos, a phone consultation with Dr. Hakki will be set up.

    Surgery Date Once your phone consultation with Dr.Hakki is completed, you will be able to pick your surgery date with the surgical coordinator. We ask that you select your surgery day on a Thursday and arrive into our offices on a Wednesday, the day before surgery for your "pre-operative" visit with Dr. Hakki. Your patient coordinator will prepare your surgical cost analysis detailing all the fees involved in your surgery. This includes Dr. Hakki's fee, anesthesia and operating room fees and any other possible ancillary fee. A comprehensive surgical package with all pre and post operative information will be mailed to you along with any lab requisition for required blood test that must be done prior to travel date when required.

    A 20% surgery booking fee is required to hold your surgery date. The fee can be paid over the phone by credit card or using any of the plastic surgery financing institutions listed on our site. The fee can be paid over the phone with a credit card (MasterCard, VISA or Amex). The balance remaining is due in full 2 weeks prior to your surgery date. A cashier's check can be mailed or a credit card can be used to complete the payment.

    Recovery Time An effort is made to make your consultation and surgery fall on consecutive days upon your arrival. A battery of follow up visits post surgery will be scheduled in order to get you home on the 4th or 5th day post-op, depending on the surgery performed. Out-of-state patients will typically stay in the Waldorf, Maryland or Washington, DC area anywhere from a few days to two weeks, depending on your cosmetic surgery. A 2 week stay maybe required for extensive surgeries such as body lift. >Butt augmentation patients are allowed to take long car drives 72 hours post surgery.

    Care Giver-Nurse A private duty care giver or nurse is available for patients arriving to surgery without a companion at discharge. Arrangements are made ahead of time to ensure immediate availability of care in the early hours of discharge from surgery. The average rate for a care giver is $25-$35 per hour.

    • If you are driving

    A large number of our out of town patients will take a 4-5 hours or longer drive the day before their scheduled date of surgery for their formal preoperative consultation. Patients will typically drive from Richmond, New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Ohio.
