Dr. Chicky Dadlani -
General Dermatology and Cosmetic Dermatology
DDr. Chicky Dadlani, a native Washingtonian, is board certified in Dermatology, Pediatric Dermatology and Pediatrics. Currently licensed in Virginia and Washington, DC, she practices general, pediatric and cosmetic dermatology.
Dr. Dadlani graduated summa cum laude from the University of Michigan. She received her degree in microbiology and became a member of Phi Beta Kappa, one of oldest and most widely recognized scholarly honorary societies. She earned her MD from the University Of Maryland School Of Medicine and completed her pediatric residency from Johns Hopkins Hospital, ranked by U.S. News & World Report among the top three children's hospitals in the nation. Then, Dr. Dadlani completed her dermatology training at New York University, one of the nation's top residency programs, where she was awarded the prestigious Husik Prize for her research on methods to improve sun protection practices amongst children and adolescents. She also completed a one-year fellowship in pediatric dermatology at NYU.
Dr. Dadlani has become well recognized in Northern Virginia and the Washington, DC area for her expertise in pediatric dermatology and was featured in DC Modern Luxury Magazine. Additionally, she has published articles in peer reviewed journals and textbooks including the Journal of The American Academy of Dermatology and The Harriet Lane Handbook: A Manual for Pediatric House Officers. Dr. Dadlani was selected to participate in a highly sought after leadership forum designed by the American Academy of Dermatology to advance leadership and communications skills.
She specializes in the care of disorders involving the skin, hair and nails in children and teens. Her areas of interest include acne, inflammatory skin conditions such as eczema and psoriasis and the evaluation and management of skin cancers, birthmarks, moles, and skin growths. Clinically, Dr. Dadlani also maintains a special interest in women's dermatology, dermatologic surgery and cosmetic dermatology procedures including but not limited to lasers, botox, fillers, and chemical peels.
She is an active member of the American Academy of Dermatology, American Academy of Pediatrics, American Board of Dermatology, American Board of Pediatrics, Women's Dermatologic Society, Society for Pediatric Dermatology and American Medical Association.
