Evelyn M. Fulcher, RN, ADN, BSN

Evelyn has over five years of nursing experience, primarily specializing in the Intensive Care Unit/Critical Care Unit at AAMC & SMH. She has worked beside Dr. Hakki for over ten years and shows dedication and compassion toward every patient.

She is certified in Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support and NIH Stroke Scale Certified. Evelyn is committed to education and has an AAS Degree in Biological Sciences, AS Degree in Nursing, and Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing from University of Maryland School of Nursing in Baltimore, where she graduated in the top of her class receiving CUM LAUDE. At Luxxery, Evelyn is involved in screening and pre-evaluation, and communication with the patients before, during, and after their surgical experience. Upon discharge, Evelyn will explain the post-op care one more time with the caregiver to make sure they completely understand what is to be expected and she will go over medication administration for the first night before their post-op appointment. Evelyn will administer the patient’s medications for a more comfortable ride home.

Evelyn is a native of Georgia and really shows everyone that true Southern Hospitality. She is a true Georgia Peach! Her vast knowledge and extensive education is a true asset to have. She continues to work as a Clinical Nursing Instructor at the College of Southern Maryland where she teaches student nurses in the clinical setting at Civista Medical Center and lab on campus.

Outside of work Evelyn enjoys spending time at home with her partner of 17 years and Ice, her Siberian husky.
