What Is Involved in the FaceTite Procedure?

The FaceTite procedure is much less invasive than other facial plastic surgery procedures. In fact, most patients require only local anesthesia or light sedation during the treatment. FaceTite involves the insertion of a thin wand through small incisions strategically placed in inconspicuous areas of the face and/or neck. The wand will deliver radiofrequency energy into the skin to liquefy fat and tighten internal tissues, while prompting the growth of new collagen. Simultaneously, an external wand is placed on the skin’s surface that also delivers waves of radiofrequency energy to create a smoother, firmer appearance in the outer skin layers.
