Shakira’s Tummy Tuck Story
What was one of the things that helped you the most during your healing process?
During the healing process, it was really helpful to have an elevated toilet seat, lots of pillows, and a juicer. It was very important that I juiced, especially in the first month for my healing. The pillows were instrumental in helping me to have support. Oh – one more thing – my massages – they were so important and Dr. Hakki’s masseuse was the absolute BEST.
Did you think the healing process would be worse?
No, I don’t think the healing process could have been worst. Dr. Hakki and his team were the absolute best and so accessible.
Was it worth the scar? Is it easy to cover up?
During the healing process, it was really helpful to have an elevated toilet seat, lots of pillows, and a juicer. It was very important that I juiced, especially in the first month for my healing. The pillows were instrumental in helping me to have support in the car as well as when I was sitting.
What was the pain level on a 1-10? 10 being the worst.
My pain level was an 8. It got better as the days progressed.
How has your life changed since the procedure?
I am the crop-topped queen now. I live for a good crop top…lol. I look at my body now and say “WOW!” I am so amazed at the work of Dr. Hakki and I appreciate the definition to my behind as well ;-).
How did you financially prepare for it?
When I was thinking about the procedure, I started saving. I was able to put a significant down payment towards the procedure and then I financed the remaining portion and was able to pay it off within two months.
